Rescue Me ID: 14-02-05-00669Mitzi (female)

Himalayan Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

We were kayaking on a lake when we noticed a tiny ball of buff-colored fur inside a cave, only to see it was a starving kitten! Mitzi is now a healthy, beautiful, young cat who expresses her love and gratitude on a daily basis. How a tiny kitten ended up in a cave in the middle of nowhere is still a mystery, but we are glad that we just happened to run across her that fateful day! Mitzi is now an out-going, 13 pound two-year old who is loving, social and litter box trained. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, wormed, FeLV tested negative, and flea-treated. All of our rescued cats are kept in a cage-free environment to help with ... (Read More)socialization and learning appropriate 'kitty etiquette.' Mitzi would make a wonderful addition to a family who is looking for an indoor cat. If possible, we would like to place her with her best friend, Autumn, who is also available for adoption. Mitzi and Autumn both came to us as kittens at the same time and are extremely bonded. Autumn is also posted on this website. Due to the high response of interest from potential adopters, we are keeping Mitzi's adoption open until Friday, March 21st in order to accept applications and screen potential adopters. Please respond to this posting if you are interested in more information or in receiving an adoption application. (Less)
